I’ve been mutually following Lynn for a while now and watching her grow as a blogger has been really interesting to watch. We both have grown honestly. Seeing her views as a feminist and black woman (in terms of race issues) have been really enlightening and she doesn’t get the respect or consideration she deserves cos a lot of people often dismiss her as just being crazy and bubbly ole Lynn. MTV’s Girl and Guy Code are placing rules on being a gender and it’s just makes me turn my head a little bit. Policing gender is just not cool and you should go back to talking about music as the network originally intended. Please just stop now.
In addition, it’s also very stupid and reinforces the concept of a “friend zone” and a bunch of other stupid stuff like that. The network has really gone down in terms of quality over the years and it’s a shame.
